Victoria Way
Director
Victoria Way is the founding Director of the Jordan High School Legacies Dance Team. She was the first Tompkins High School Crimson Cavalettes Assistant Director. Prior to opening Jordan High School, she established the first JV Dance Team at OTHS, Crimson Pride. She has instructed all levels of dance throughout her teaching career and truly loves the relationships she develops with all of her students.
Victoria is a graduate of Texas State University where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Dance Education with a minor in English. She currently holds teaching certification in dance, physical education and English. Victoria was very involved in the Texas State University Dance Department, receiving several scholarships including the Gwen K. Smith Endowed Scholarship for Dance Educators. She is a former member of Orchesis Dance Company and danced in Austin, Texas for a semi-professional cheerleading team. Victoria was on her high school drill team, the Creekview Chevals, where she found her love of dance and served in leadership her junior and senior year.
She has been married to her husband, Stephen, for 6 years. They welcomed their daughter Karsyn Elise into the world in May of 2021!

Alex Worrell
Assistant Director
Alex Worrell grew up in Cypress, Texas where she was an award winning competitive dancer at Hintze Dance Studio. She went to Cy-Fair High School where she served as Colonel her Senior year and Junior Lieutenant her Junior Year. While on the team, Alex had the opportunity to choreograph many award winning dances and develop her love for dance team!
Alex is a graduate of Baylor University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Education with a minor in Dance. She currently holds teaching certification in dance, physical education, social studies and ESL. While at Baylor, Alex worked for Joy’s School of Dance, a renowned dance studio in Waco. While working at JSOD, Alex was given the opportunity to write curriculum, choreograph, and build relationships with amazing dancers. Through Baylor’s Dance Minor Program, she was able to get connected with the Midway High School Goal Tenders and become their Coaching Intern for two years. Alex was also an extremely involved member of her sorority, Delta Delta Delta, where she was able to serve as StompFest Chair and Sing Chair. Alex graduated from Baylor in May of 2021.
For the 2021-2022 school year, Alex has worked as a World History and World Geography teacher at Lake Travis High School. She has also had the privilege of being the Assistant Director of the talented Lake Travis Red Rubies where she had the opportunity to choreograph their award winning competition contemporary dance. Alex has also worked as a choreographer for ShowMakers of America over the past year.
She got married to her amazing husband, Bret, on December 4th, 2021. They are so excited to move to Houston and become a part of the Jordan family!
