Victoria Way
Director
Victoria Way is the founding Director of the Jordan High School Legacies Dance Team. She was the first Tompkins High School Crimson Cavalettes Assistant Director. Prior to opening Jordan High School, she established the first JV Dance Team at OTHS, Crimson Pride. She has instructed all levels of dance throughout her teaching career and truly loves the relationships she develops with all of her students.
Victoria is a graduate of Texas State University where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Dance Education with a minor in English. She currently holds teaching certification in dance, physical education and English. Victoria was very involved in the Texas State University Dance Department, receiving several scholarships including the Gwen K. Smith Endowed Scholarship for Dance Educators. She is a former member of Orchesis Dance Company and danced in Austin, Texas for a semi-professional cheerleading team. Victoria was on her high school drill team, the Creekview Chevals, where she found her love of dance and served in leadership her junior and senior year.
She has been married to her husband, Stephen, for 8 years. They welcomed their daughter Karsyn Elise into the world in May of 2021!

Shelby Dupont
Assistant Director
Shelby Dupont grew up in Katy and graduated from Tompkins High School where she was a Cavalette for three years and served as Jr. Lieutenant and Captain with Mrs. Way as her Assistant Director!
After high school, Shelby attended Kilgore College for 2 years and was a member of the 80th line of the Kilgore College Rangerettes. With the Rangerettes she had the privilege of performing in the Birmingham International Tattoo in Birmingham, England and the Virginia International tattoo in Norfolk, Virgina. She also had the opportunity to work for Spirit of America and perform in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on the float with Miss America. Following her time on Rangerettes, she attended Texas A&M University and graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Dance.
Shelby is thrilled to be a part of the amazing dance program at Jordan and to work alongside Mrs. Way! She cannot wait to share her love for dance with all her students! GO WARRIORS!!
